MISSION TRIP

Dear Friends and Supporters,

I pray this message finds you well.

 I want to begin by thanking you from the bottom of my heart for your ongoing prayers and financial support for Our Father’s House Recovery Ministry. It is because of your faithfulness that lives are being transformed and many are finding freedom in Christ.

I am writing to share some exciting news. We have been presented with the opportunity to plant a new branch of Our Father’s House in Kenya. Sadly, we have learned that many churches in Kenya tend to push addicts away, often viewing them as an inconvenience rather than embracing them. After seeing the fruit of what God is doing through our ministry, local leaders have asked us to come and plant there—to create a safe and relatable place where those struggling with addiction can encounter Jesus and be restored.

In order to make this possible, we will need to support the new branch financially for the first six months. This comes to £250 per month, a total of £1,500.

Additionally, in January, I will need to travel to Kenya for 7 days to meet with the treatment centre facility where Our Father’s House will be based, as well as to connect with local pastors we will train and equip for the work ahead. The estimated costs for this trip are:

• Return flight: £600

• Accommodation: £150

• (Traveling with another leader for safety – doubling these costs)

Total trip cost: £1,500

That means, to launch this new work in Kenya, we are looking at an initial commitment of £3,000 (£1,500 for six months’ support + £1,500 for the trip).

We believe this is a God-given opportunity to reach the lost, the broken, and the addicted with the love of Jesus in a place where they are often rejected. I would love to ask you to prayerfully consider standing with us in this new step—whether through a one-time gift towards the launch costs or by committing to help with the monthly support.
